Alexey Kulakovsky: the assignments given by the president of Russia, have obligatory character

The administration of the president of the Russian Federation has prepared the list of assignments of the RF president Dmitry Medvedev to the RF Government and the authorities of RF regions of development of physical culture and sports - according to the results of the first all-Russian sport forum “Russia is a sport country” and the meeting of the presidential council of development of physical culture and sports, which were held in Kazan, on October, 22-25. The deputy chief of the organizing committee of the forum “Russia is a sport country”, the secretary of the presidential council of development of physical culture and sports, deputy chief of the department of the president of Russia of maintenance of activity of the RF State council, the head of the presidium of “The Russian Olympians Foundation” Aleksey Kulakovsky commented on this document to the Agency of sport information “All Sport”.

“First of all, I must say, that the assignments, given by the president of the Russian Federation, have obligatory character, - Aleksey Kulakovsky noticed. - Assignments, given by the president of Russian Federation according to the results of the meeting of the Council and forum “Russia is a sport country” held in Kazan, first of all concern the development of children-youth sports, preparation to the first summer youth Olympic games 2010 in Singapore. For the moment the final staff of the youth Russian team isn’t known yet for these Games, and the president pointed on it. And he has also demanded while working at the Uniform schedule plan of regional, all-Russian, and international sport events for the year 2010, to provide preparation of athletes - future participants of the youth Olympic Games in Singapore. A lot of attention was paid in the commissions to children youth schools - CYS. It is necessary to define their status, conditions of paying the salary for coaches, conditions of material support. A huge task of working out and statement of system of measures, directed on development of children-youth sports on a residence and place of study has been put. The president said very accurately at the meeting of the Council in Kazan: in every place of life, and it doesn’t matter on its size and arrangement, all conditions for sports must be created. Unfortunately, we have a lot of small towns, where there are no places for sports at all for children and adults”.

Aleksey Kulakovsky has also reminded the main tasks and the first results of the all-Russia sport forum “Russia is a sport country”. “The main task of the forum is propagation of healthy way of life and stimulation of people of Russia to go in for sports. Each of us more or less participates in this process: some people walk, some people walk around the park with children and grandchildren, some people bring their children to sport schools. Till this moment the importance of this work hasn’t been raised on such level, which was defined in the commission of the RF president about holding the forum. And one of the assignments of the president concerns this problem directly. Healthy nation is nation directed into the future. The other task concerns professional sports. Dynamics of the results of the Russian athletes of professional sports in comparison with the previous Olympic cycles is still negative. And if we want to change this dynamics, we must create new stimulation. And in this sphere the forum is international platform for exchange of experience, its holding will give opportunity to raise our role in international society. As it is known, all the problems of material maintenance of athletes of individual Olympic kinds of sport are solved by “The Russian Olympians Foundation”, the head of the Tutorial council is the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev. It turns out that the moral support may be maid with the help of the forum, and material - with the Foundation. And what else do we need? Practically, these two moments maintenance enough conditions for preparation of the athletes”.

ATHLETICS. Yury Borzakovsky was found not guilty in the car accident and a person’s death
The famous Russian runner, 800 m Olympic champion Yury Borzakovsky was found not guilty in the car accident that happened at night September, 30 – October, 1 in Zhukovsky, Moscow region. The car accident resulted in a man’s death but the criminal case was not even started. Agency of sport information “All Sport” has learnt it from the personal trainer of Yury Borzakovsky – Vyacheslav Evstratov.
