WRESTLING. Alexandre Karelin will present the certificates for new carpets to the wrestlers of Cabardino-Balkaria

The great Russian wrestler, three times Olympic champion, the Hero of Russia and now the member of the State Duma Alexandre Karelin will be the guest of the team meetings in free style wrestling Russia – USA and Republic Cabardino-Balkaria – USA, that are scheduled in Nalchik on January, 30. Agency of sport information “All Sport” has learnt it from Alexandre Karelin himself.

“The teams of Russia and the USA will come to Nalchik in full strength right after having a rest from the fight of Gran-Prix Ivan Yarigin in Krasnoyarsk, - said  Alexandre Karelin. – Another prove of the outstanding nature of this match is the solid composition of honorary guests. They will come to support the Organizing Committee chaired by the head of the president Cabardino-Balkaria administration Albert Kazharov. It is very important that the guests will come to Cabardino-Balkaria not empty-handed. There will be prize-money for the wrestlers, and I was asked to present to the wrestling organizations of the Republic the certificates for new wrestling carpets. The republic government headed by the president Arsen Kanokov is doing its best to popularize and to develop one of the most socially important kinds of sports. Enough to mention that sport and physical training in the republic are perfectly managed by the Olympic champion in Greco-roman style Murad Kardanov. Recently Russian teams in Greco-roman, free style and women wrestling regularly do their periodical training in wonderful centers in Prielbrusie. And the fact of holding the second match Republic Cabardino-Balkaria – USA himself is another proof of the effective work of  Cabardino-Balkaria Wrestling federation headed by the president Valery Kardanov. And I hope the hospitable Cabadino-Balkarian land will become a luck for Russian wrestlers in the fights against traditional and very strong competitor”.

The executive director of Russian wrestling federation Georgy Bryusov also mentioned that together with  Alexandre Karelin to Nalchik will come the president of  Russian wrestling federation, Olympic champion Mikhail Mamiashvili, the councilor of the head of the Russian president administration Nazir Hapsirokov, well-known public figures, sportsmen and businessmen.
