Sergey Korol: Andrey Bokarev has several times proved that he is capable to apply successfully the operational experience in business in public organizations

Today, on June, 16, in Moscow there was held the report-election conference of the Russian Freestyle federation (RFF). Andrey Bokarev was unanimously selected to the post of the RFF president. For the moment he is the chairman of the Boards of directors of the companies "Kuzbazrazresugol" and "Transmashholding", the first vice-president of the Russian tennis federation, the founder of "The Russian Olympians Foundation», the member of the Presidential Council of physical culture and sports development, and he was the president of the Russian Alpine ski and snowboard federation in 2006-2010 years. The executive director of the RASSF, who was today selected to the post of the first-president of the RFF, told to the Agency of sport information “All Sport” about the successful experience of activity of Andrey Bokarev.

“Today I have honor to present Andrey Bokareva as the candidate for post of the RFF president to the delegates of the report-select conference of the RFF, - Sergey Korol. - Probably, to some extent it was formality because Andrey Removich is known to all the active participants of sports movement in Russia. He was born in Moscow in 1966, graduated from the Moscow Financial University, he is married, has six children (smiling). He is fond of many kinds of sports - alpine skiing, on a very high level, I would say, professionally, plays tennis. Naturally, first of all, Andrey Bokarev is known as successful businessman, he is the of the Boards of directors of the companies "Kuzbazrazresugol" and "Transmashholding”. For us it is very important, that he several times has proved, that he is capable to use successfully in the public organizations the experience of work in business. Andrey Bokarev is the member of the presidium of the Russian union industrialists and businessmen, the first vice-president of the Russian tennis federation, one of the founders of “The Russian Olympians Foundation”, the member of the Counsil of development of physical culture and sports of the RF President… The executive director of the Russian Olympic committee, who presented at the conference of the RFF, Marat Bariev paid attention, that after personnel shifts, made in the presidential Council after the Olympic Games in Vancouver 2010, Andrey Bokarev remained one of two representatives of winter sports - together with the president of the Russian Hokey Federation Vladislav Tretyak. By the way, Marat Bariev together with the first vice-president of the ROC Igor Kazikov from the name of the ROC, and the deputy minister of sports Yury Nagornykh from the name of the RF Ministry of sports, tourism and youth policy expressed their full support to the candidate of Bokarev”.

“Certainly, such support is connected, first of all, with that qualitative and productive work, which Andrey Bokarev did for the recent four years on the post of the president of the Russian Alpine ski and Nordic combined federation, - Sergey Korol continued. - I know about it not from the others (smiling). The first Russian Olympic medal in snowboard became the top of that work - silver, which Ekaterina Ilyukhina won at the Olympic Games in Vancouver 2010. We believe that Andrey Bokarev will also very effectively lead the Russian Freestyle Federation. And on this position he is able to promote the decision of the Russian freestyle team of problems on achievement of the high purposes at the Olympic Games 2014 in Sochi, which the RF President Dmitry Medvedev and the head of thhe RF Government Vladimir Putin put on - in the form of medals, won by freestyle athletes”.

ATHLETICS. Yury Borzakovsky was found not guilty in the car accident and a person’s death
The famous Russian runner, 800 m Olympic champion Yury Borzakovsky was found not guilty in the car accident that happened at night September, 30 – October, 1 in Zhukovsky, Moscow region. The car accident resulted in a man’s death but the criminal case was not even started. Agency of sport information “All Sport” has learnt it from the personal trainer of Yury Borzakovsky – Vyacheslav Evstratov.
