OLYMPICS. The marketers of the “Nemiroff” company prevented the contract of the ROC with “Pierre Cardin”. "Bosco Sport" will equip the Russian team in Beijing 2008 and Vancouver 2010

"Bosco Sport" has stayed as the official equiper of the Russian Olympic team in Beijing 2008 and Vancouver 2010. The company, which belongs to Mr Kusnirovich, equiped the Russian team for the three previous Olympic Games.The executive board of the Russian Olympic Committee (ROC), which was held on April, 9, voted almost unanimously for this decision. This information gives the Agency of sport information “All Sport”.

The main aim of this executive board, as well as a week ago, was to elect the official equiper of the Russian team for the Olympic Games in Beijing 2008 and Vancouver 2010. The competition for the right to equip Russian team was between two companies: "Bosco Sport" (they offered to the ROC 13,325,000$) and “Pierre Cardin” (19,050,000$). But the difference was that this time the executive board was held personally by the ROC president Leonid Tyagachev. The discussion was not so emotional as a week ago. In the result of the elections the "Bosco" company was named the official equiper. Although “Pierre Cardin” had offered to the ROC 6 million$ more than "Bosco Sport" (16,400,000$ against 10,370,000$ after paying all the taxes). In spite of the fact that there are many censures to the quality of "Bosco Sport"’s clothes and to the conduct of the leaders of the company, the members of the executive board voted unanimously. “The members of the executive board voted in favour of a well known, predicted partner”, -- the head of the ROC press-service Gennady Shvetz said.

Nevertheless the source of information of the Agency “All Sport” in ROC supposed that the results of the elections were determined by the strange position of the financial partner of the “Pierre Cardin” in equiping the Russian olympic team -- the “Nemiroff” company. (It was supposed that “Pierre Cardin” will create the design of the olympic clothes and the special registrated affiliated company of “Nemiroff” -- “Miroff-Sport” will lead all the commercial and financial aspects of this project). In the project of the contract between “Miroff-Sport” and the ROC, which the marketers of the “Nemoroff” company prepared at the end of the last week for the ROC, suddenly appeared some points in marketing programme about the fines in 500,000$. And even to dissolving the contract. When they learned about it, the members of the executive board voted for the “well known, predicted partner”.

The famous Russian runner, 800 m Olympic champion Yury Borzakovsky was found not guilty in the car accident that happened at night September, 30 – October, 1 in Zhukovsky, Moscow region. The car accident resulted in a man’s death but the criminal case was not even started.
