OLYMPICS. The rejection of the Korean Parliament to permit the co-education including the disabled children reduces the chances of Pyeongchang to hold the Olympic Games 2014

One of the most discussible topics at the International convention SportAccord, which is carried out in Beijing, is the capture of the Korean Parliament by the parents of the disabled children on April, 25, who got indignant at the rejection of the law of co-education including the disabled children. The world sport leaders, including the IOC members, consider this delimitation to be violation of the principles of the rights’ equality and the foundations of the civilized society. Moreover, its confirmation reduces the chances of Pyeongchang to get the right to hold the Olympic Games 2014, the Candidate Cities are also Russian Sochi and Austrian Salzburg. This information shared the special correspondent of the Agency of sport information “All Sport” at the SportAccord.

On April, 25, in Seoul the parents of the disabled children, been indignant by the rejection of the deputies to keep the promises they had given earlier – to adopt the law of the co-education including the disabled children, captured the Parliament of the South Korea. That event became at once one the most important topics for discussion in the lobby of the SportAccord, emotionally we can compare it only with the life suspention from any participation at the Olympic Games of the six Austrian skiers and biathlonists, which was announced also on April, 25. For the moment the Olympic and Paralympic Games are the two parts of the whole, and the repetition of the situation when Moscow, after winning the right to hold the Olympic Games 1980, refused to hold the Paralympic Games is impossible. The IOC demands absolutely the same conditions and opportunities for the Olympians and Paralympians. And the law of the obligatory separate education of the disabled children is nonsense for the country, which is the Candidate to hold the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games 2014, it is the violation of the basis principles not only of the IOC, but of the civilized society.

At the SportAccord convention one of the interviewees of the Agency of sport information “All Sport” said, that the law of the obligatory separate education of the disabled children and the refusal to cancel it is the genocide. The others were less emotional, but were of the same opinion: this situation reduces the chances of Pyeongchang to get the right to hold the Olympic Games 2014.

The famous Russian runner, 800 m Olympic champion Yury Borzakovsky was found not guilty in the car accident that happened at night September, 30 – October, 1 in Zhukovsky, Moscow region.
