BOXING. Eduard Husainov: I am ready to solve current matters for Eugeny Murov

The election of the head of the Federal Security Service (FSS), general Eugeny Murov for the post of the president of the Russian Boxing Federation (RBF) may increase the positions of the RBF both inside the country and in the world. The former president of the RBF, the operating president of the Amateur European Boxing Association (AEBA), vice-president of the Amateur International Boxing Association (AIBA) Eduard Husainov told it to the Agency of sport information “All Sport” after the extraordinary conference of the RBF, which was held on June, 27.

“During the extraordinary conference of the RBF about 110 delegates from most of the regions of the RF have unanimously chosen the three leaders: Eugeny Murov -- the president, Boris Ivanuzhenkov – the first vice-president, Eduard Husainov – the general secretary, -- Eduard Husainov has specified the previous message of the Agency of sport information “All Sport”. – The elections for the other posts will be held during another extraordinary conference of the RBF, which will be held in December. And till that time the vice-presidents elected in the year 2005 will continue working. However, the main target of the December conference will be the adoption of the new charter of the RBF, which will correspond to all the realities of the Russian Low. I have voluntary gave the power of the president of the federation in favor of Eugeny Murov, and for the moment I don’t occupy any official post in the RBF. As we agreed, I will concentrate on working on the international level in EABA and AIBA. But proceeding from the interests of the Russian Box, I will nevertheless go to the office of the federation every day, give advice, help – just work. And in general, I am ready to solve current matters for Eugeny Murov – that one who will make routine everyday work”.

Eduard Husainov has also expressed the opinion that the election of Eugeny Murov for the post of the president of the RBF is able to reinforce the position of the RBF. “I was very happy, when I learned that had decided to claim for the post of the president of the RBF, and have at once decided to give him my power. Thanks to his personal authority and the position in the leadership of the country, the work which the federation is doing in Russia and in the World may increase – even repeatedly”, -- Eduard Husainov expressed his opinion.

ATHLETICS. Yury Borzakovsky was found not guilty in the car accident and a person’s death
The famous Russian runner, 800 m Olympic champion Yury Borzakovsky was found not guilty in the car accident that happened at night September, 30 – October, 1 in Zhukovsky, Moscow region. The car accident resulted in a man’s death but the criminal case was not even started. Agency of sport information “All Sport” has learnt it from the personal trainer of Yury Borzakovsky – Vyacheslav Evstratov.
